Squareathon Part 3

Howdy! Well, I am finally getting around to posting about my last few #squareathon prompts.  The last few weeks have been kind of a whirlwind.  I am spending a lot of time at work due to a program conversion and the weekends have been all about birthdays and funerals... Anyway, I digress.  Here are the prompts- I will warn you, I sorta lost steam at the end.  I did them even quicker than normal and I am not really happy with them.  But I suppose any creative time is better than none!  Besides, the whole point of this is to get you thinking creatively  about the prompts.
Prompt 13- Once Upon a Memory I took a photo in my Grandma's garden after she passed the spring before her house was sold. I always remember these grape  hyacinth flowers popping out first and always wanting to pop the little purple bubbles.  I was so enamored by the deep hue of purple-y blue.

Prompt 14- Walking on the Moon Of course, my brain immediately goes to ole MJ.

Prompt 15- Over the Horizon I wanted to do an Arizona sunset type painting with cactus silhouettes, but this is what happened.  What happened?

Prompt 16- Through the Magic Door I recently watched Christopher Robin and this prompt made me think of that.  I wanted to collage in a red balloon, some leaves and grass, but in the end my tiredness won over.

Squareathon Part 2

Hello, Hello, Hello! Here is my part two of the @melissadoty.art #squareathon
I can tell you these few squares are not my favorite~ I have some I like better than others.
Ready.........Set........Show you the stuff I think resembles doggie doo.  (one thing about me- I am my own WORST critic.  Like most artists.  So I am completely unauthentic there.) Started out as one thing, ended up as another. Like burning wood, now that I think about it.

:-/  Not my fave.

cool idea, just happened out of some watercolor blooms that came out in the black corner.

Squareathon

What's a squarathon?  Glad you asked.  So, I follow this artist on the gram- her name is Mel Doty.  you can follow her @melissadoty.art  She does a challenge every so often to prompt you to create.  The rules are that you keep your composition in a square and interperet her prompts however you want.  Other than that, you do what you want in whatever medium.  I joined this one since it was only 15 days and she partnered up with @experiencetruecolors to make the prompts.  Mostly I worked in Crayola marker, watercolor and ink for these 6.  Does anyone else sign up for challenges and start off strong only to peter out after day 5 or so?!?! That about sums up my diet history too :-/
